Position Summary:
This position carries administrative and supervisory responsibilities for one residential group home. The core areas of responsibilities include: oversight of all day-to-day group home operations, assuring safety of residents and staff management and supervision of staff, residential programming, residential fiscal responsibilities, crisis management, and meeting documentation requirements according to agency and regulatory guidelines.
Essential Requirements:
Physically and psychologically able to actively and safely supervise a group of adolescent residents with emotional, mental and behavioral challenges.
Provide leadership to and effectively manage the job performance of the Youth Care Workers.
Work cooperatively and effectively with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Implement the policies and practices of SFSV, DPW, DHS and HIPAA as they pertain to the effective operation of residential group homes.
Ability to provide 24 hour on-call coverage to the assigned group home and available to work flexible schedule covering day, evening and overnight shifts.
Ability to safely operate a 10-passenger vehicle.
Maintain insurability for driving with the Archdiocesan Insurance Office.
